Dear <<First Name>>
Greetings. We hope you are all well and staying as positive as possible.
As we enter month 16 of a tough time worldwide, we’d like to take a moment to celebrate. At times, it hasn’t felt like we’ve had much to celebrate but despite everything happening globally right now, here at Thompsons Africa, we have much to be grateful for.
We have changed positions. We have taken on new responsibilities. We have pushed ourselves, even when we’ve wanted to give up. We have learned new skills. We have learned to lean on others.
We have stumbled.
We have fallen.
And we have held each other up.
We have supported.
We have cheered on.
We have lost friends, family, colleagues. Some to the virus. Some to circumstances because of the virus.
We have mourned together.
And we have celebrated together. Most of our small victories are just that, very small. But they are victories nonetheless. Over the past 16 months, we’ve shared many messages and emails telling you why Africa should be the first destination people must come to when this is all over.
But the truth is, you all already know how spectacular Africa is.
So today, instead of telling you the same thing once again, we would like to share our personal, small, but victorious (and sometimes, just fun) moments with you.
Our greatest victory is this. We have each other.
