It's Summer time!

It has been a while since our last employee newsletter. Let's recap a few past events and take a look of what is coming.

As we approach the end of the fiscal year on June 30, remember to talk with your supervisor about taking any personal days and/or vacation time above 150 hours before they are lost!

On April 17th we officially welcomed Genoa Healthcare® Pharmacy into LCMHS' facility with the Grand Opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of the pharmacy at our agency’s main office. The pharmacy has been operating since early December though.

By taking the health assessment we will receive a report showing our staff’s health improvements and/or needs and design programs to fit your needs. The assessments will be open to all employees who are enrolled with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Vermont insurance.
On April 24th, staff participated on the National Walk at Lunch Day!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month
“Ending the Silence: An Evening on Youth Mental Health” was held on May 14th at Stowe High School. Bryanne Castle, Director of Therapeutic and Intake Services and Miranda Bevins, Clinical Coordinator, at Lamoille County Mental Health Services, co-lead the discussion on what to look for in terms of mental health wellness and how to talk to your child about mental health.
The 2019 NAMI Pathways to Wellness Conference was attended by LCMHS staff members and we were thrilled that our own Monique Reil and Bryanne Castle presented a workshop on Zero Suicide. Great job ladies! Our Cadre Team was also there representing our agency and did a wonderful job!
During the month of May, our teams visited WLVB on Wednesday mornings to bring awareness and share information about the services we offer to the community. Pictured from left to right: Janelle Germaine, Roland Lajoie and Hayley LeCours.
On May 18th the Me2/ Orchestra performed at the LUHS Auditorium. The program included music by Haydn, Puccini, and Beethoven, and featured soprano guest artist Sarah Cullins.
