Monday, March 13 from 11:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. – Tech Help: Need one-on-one tech assistance? We offer help with technology basics for phones, computers, and Library-related applications. Walk-ins only; patrons will be helped on a first come, first served basis.
Monday, March 13 at 5:00 p.m. – Family Movie: Strange World. (2022 Rated PG) The legendary Clades are a family of explorers whose differences threaten to topple their latest and most crucial mission.
Tuesday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. – Story Time: Learn numbers, colors, and the alphabet through songs, stories, and movement.
Tuesday, March 14 at 11:00 a.m. – New Worlds Reading Initiative Information Session: The state of Florida has launched the New Worlds Reading Initiative - a free book delivery program that partners with students and families to build personalized, at-home libraries. Kindergarten through fifth grade public and charter school students in Florida who are not reading on grade level are eligible to participate. Once enrolled, a student will receive a book by mail during each month of the school year. Learn more about the program and eligibility requirements at this information session.
Wednesday, March 15 at 4:00 p.m.— Pet Skunk Advocates and Rescue: Reading Doesn’t Stink! *Featuring Live Skunks! The Pet Skunk Advocates and Rescue will be at the library to talk about skunks and other wildlife rehabilitation. Children will receive a book called Boomer to the Rescue, coloring pages, and a sticker. After a short presentation there will be a Q&A, and everyone will be able to pet and take pictures of the animals.
Thursday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m. — A Novel Idea Book Club: Razorblade Tears, by S.A. Cosby.
Friday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. – Feature Film: Nope. (2022 Rated R) From Director Jordan Peele. The residents of a lonely gulch in inland California bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.
Saturday, March 18 at 11:00 a.m. – Story & STEAM: Trap a Leprechaun. Join us for a special story and activity built around STEAM concepts. This is a caregiver participation program intended for elementary age students.
