Construction Zones-

The week of October 17th, 2021, Metro crews will be setting up another phase of our sewer project construction along Gulf Blvd. and 55th Ave.  


This should be in place for approximately two weeks. Immediately following this work, PSTA’s contractor will begin working on installing their bus stop south of 55th Avenue on the west side of the road. They will implement daily lane closure of the outside lane. The PSTA element is projected to be completed by Thanksgiving Day. See full details here.

Boca Ciega & 78th Ave. Closed to Traffic

A reclaimed water pipe has been ruptured yesterday, October 21, 2021, at the intersection of Boca Ciega Drive and 78th Avenue during the fiber optic installation project.

Join us for the Boca Ciega Dr.
Repaving - 30% Design Update

Time: October 27, 2021 at 5:00pm
Location: Boca Ciega Ballroom at Community Center
We are now 30% complete with the design phase of the project, and are seeking additional community input for the project.
During this meeting the proposed design plans will be on display and open to public comment.

Register for Trunk or Treat- Halloween Fun! 

Get into the Halloween spirit and be creative! We are looking for individuals/businesses to decorate their trunks and hand out candy to costumed kids during our very popular community event, Trunk or Treat at Horan Park! It is FREE to enter and participate.

Car owners who want to participate must complete the form found HERE. 

Only those who have properly registered their vehicles will be allowed to participate at this event. All participants should be prepared for at least 700+ children to visit their vehicle. All candy must be pre-packaged and unopened to distribute at the event. This is a great opportunity to have some Halloween fun!

Freebee Expands Coverage Area
The Freebee Transportation Service has now expanded to cover to 75th Avenue south through Pass-a-Grille.  See full coverage map and details on our Public Transportation program HERE.
