November 19th, 2021 Community Update 

Please Note: All City Offices will be Closed on Thursday, November 25th, 2021 and Friday November 26th, 2021 in observance of Thanksgiving.

📚 The St. Pete Beach Library will close on Wednesday, November 24th at 5pm and re-open Monday, November 29th at 10am.

🚙Freebee will not be operating on Thursday, November 25th, 2021.

🚛Trash collection will not take place on Thanksgiving Day. If you have a Thursday pick up day, your garbage will be picked up on your next regularly scheduled collection day.

Santa and Sirens

Our Fire Engine will drive Santa through the neighborhoods spreading holiday cheer along with Christmas music on two special nights.  December 15 starting at approximately 6:30pm, Santa will be visiting Belle Vista, Lido and North end of the City; December 16 Pass A Grille, Vina and Lazarillo neighborhoods.  Routes do not include gated communities or dead-end streets.

  • Monday, November 22 at 11:00 a.m. – Story Time: Learn numbers, colors, and the alphabet through songs, stories, and movement.
  • Tuesday, November 23 at 4:00 p.m. – Great Explorations at the Library: Art ExplorationsThis exploration looks at how we can make all forms of art using scientific methods: force, tension, gravity, and multiple forms of matter! Ages 4-12.
  • Wednesday, November 24 – Library closes at 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 25 - Sunday, November 28 – Library CLOSED for Thanksgiving.

Construction Zones

Metro crews are on site working on our sewer project along Gulf Blvd. and 55th Ave.   PSTA’s contractor is also working on installing their bus stop south of 55th Avenue on the west side of the road. They will implement daily lane closures of the outside lane.  See full details here.
