Construction Zones

Metro crews are on site working on our sewer project along Gulf Blvd. and 55th Ave.   Immediately following this work, PSTA’s contractor will begin working on installing their bus stop south of 55th Avenue on the west side of the road. They will implement daily lane closures of the outside lane.  See full details here.

Frontier’s contractor is working on 80th and Boca Ciega Drive this Friday to perform an open cut conduit installation.

They attempted to drill but hit resistance and abandoned the drill to avoid damaging another utility. That intersection will be closed for the work and traffic will be detoured.

Also, they plan on doing similar work at 87th and Boca Ciega Drive this Saturday to avoid working while the school is in session. That intersection will also be closed for the work and traffic will be detoured.

This is part of their City-wide fiber roll out.  Any additional updates will be provided as applicable.
