June 11-20th 
UMD I-Corps Program - 
A one week course that introduces you to the process of customer discovery and will give you the tools to determine whether your innovation, in its current stage, has product-market fit. The program is comprised as follows: short pre-work assignment, 3-hour in-person kickoff, 30-minute office virtual hour, 3-hour closing session. The total duration of the UMD program is 1 week and you are expected to complete 10 interviews.  Contact Jolene Gurevich at for more information.

European Defense Agency - Service Framework Contract for the Provision of a Study for “Ground Combat Robotic Systems (C-UGV)"
This Framework Contract (FWC) has as a general objective to define and structure a generic ground-based combat robotic system, while analysing the technological requirements, legal, ethical and safety aspects as well as the advantages and disadvantages derived by the operational use of this kind of systems. As a result a road map for future proposals and development of follow-on programs will be developed.

The Conservation, Protection and Use call will support research into strategies, methodologies and tools to safeguard and use the physical components of our cultural heritage.
