Research. Rigorous and relevant research for all projects. This blog describes how one firm received an IES Research Grant for a multi-year efficacy evaluation after the conclusion of its ED/IES SBIR project.
Commercialization. Private sector commercialization after development is complete so that products can be disseminated to schools and be sustained over time.
Bringing Research and Practice. Advance previous IES-supported or university-based basic research into modern and scalable products ready for commercialization in schools.
NEW! Phase I proposals for awards of up to $200,000 and 8 months for the development of a prototype of a tool to measure the return on investment (or "ROI") of different education programs and career pathways. The ROI tool is intended to inform decision-making for of students from traditional and non-traditional backgrounds on education and careers.
The Institutes for Advanced Topics in the Digital Humanities (IATDH) - Due Mar 26, 2019
- supports national or regional (multistate) training programs for scholars, humanities professionals, and advanced graduate students to broaden and extend their knowledge of digital humanities. Virtual institutes are also permissible.
