PROVE IT: Book of 1 John Series
We will continue our new sermon series, "Prove It," a study of the book of I John.  Pastor Jeff McVay will discover how we truly know God and how our Christian life is living proof of our connection to the Father.  Do you know God?  Your evidence is in your obedience.   Do you truly love your neighbor?  Your proof of evidence is in your sacrifice.   Invite a new friend to our series in October.

Meet our Missionaries in Africa: Musa and Prudence Kunene
Musa grew up in a Nazarene church in Swaziland (now eSwatini) sensing God’s call to preach. He served as local youth president for three years before answering God’s call.  Musa attended the South Africa Nazarene Bible College (now SANU) and started pastoring in his second year, also serving as District NYI President and District CLT Director. He taught Bible Knowledge and History for 7 years at a High School before joining the SANU as a part-time lecturer.

Musa and Prudence moved to the UK, where Musa studied while pastoring a local church. He received a degree in Research Methodology as well as a PHD in New Testament. After a fruitful ministry in the UK, Musa and his family returned to eSwatini to serve as DS of the Eswatini Central District. Later, Dr. Kunene was assigned as the Field Strategy Coordinator - Africa South Field. In March 2021 Musa was transferred to the Field Strategy Coordinator - Africa East Field.

Prudence grew up in a Nazarene church in eSwatini.  She and Musa met in Nazarene Youth Holidays (NaYoHo) and were married in 1995. They have three beautiful daughters. One is in college, one a Math and Science teacher first and now a full time missionary and one in high school. Prudence also taught high school Math and Science before beginning full time missionary service.

Prudence enjoys watching football and playing badminton while Musa has a passion for music and football.

There are almost 100 different opportunities to serve. Click here to access the website of the current list of missionary needs around the world.  It is designed to help those interested in pursuing missionary service for any length of time and find a position that suits their interests and gifting.
