Immersive: Hearing Voices Training and Consultancy

Two days training will be held at the Women’s Centre on the 31st March and 1st April 2022 from 9.30am to 5pm. This group will provide practical tools for professionals working with people who hear voices.

The course covers an Introduction to Hearing Voices and Group Facilitation Foundation and is led by Kate Fiske and Kellie Stastny.  Together, Kate and Kellie bring many years experience building and sustaining grassroots movements to establish positive and compassionate approaches to experiences such as voice hearing.

The cost is $300. Please make all bookings via the Women's Centre for Health and Wellbeing.

Betty’s Place Women's Refuge began with Bob and Betty Maclean accommodating women in their own home in the 1970’s

Weekly Anxiety Group is On!
The first meeting of the Anxiety Support Group started on Tuesday the 22nd February and will continue each Tuesday in 2022. People are welcome to attend on any Tuesday they are able to attend, fortnightly, monthly or whenever they are able to come.  

Each meeting revolves around group members sharing experiences, supporting each other and learning from one another. Group members are invited to share their experiences if they would like to. Some people can also choose to come along and listen without talking, that's completely ok.  There is no formal ‘teaching’ component,  but group members can request information and resources from the facilitator if they want to.  The group is payable by gold coin donation.
