The Information and Communication Technologies Village (VITIB SA), a company in charge of the promotion and management of the Free Zone of Biotechnologies, Information and Communication Technologies (Mahatma Gandhi Technological Park), is seeking visual artists wanting to have their works exhibited in its newly inaugurated headquarters, in Grand-Bassam.
The headquarters of VITIB SA, is a business hotel of 3000 m². It is home to many companies in the digital sector, and is visited daily by dozens of national and international investors. With its modern architecture, it has spaces that can display paintings, sculptures, or photographs. It is therefore an excellent promotional space frequented by prestigious visitors from Ivory Coast and from all over the world.
Exhibition spaces include an Entrance Hall (Lobby), Meeting Rooms, Common Areas, Conference Rooms, Office of the Director General, Office of the President of the Board of Directors, and Offices of Operational Officers.
Artists wishing to participate in this program are requested to send a photo of their work to firstname.lastname@example.org. The works must mention the name of the artist, contact of the artist (phone, email), asking price. VITIB will inform the artist as soon as an offer is made on one of his works.
An internal committee will select the selected works. VITIB does not take any fees on the transactions between artists and buyers. The minimum duration of exposure of a work is six (6) months. This call for expressions of interest is launched on August 26, 2019, and ends on December 31, 2019.
