Mayor de Blasio will be signing an executive order today, Monday, March 16, 2020, requiring all New York City restaurants and nightlife establishments to suspend their normal operations as of tomorrow.
Effective Tuesday at 9:00am, restaurants and bars will be limited to providing only food take-out and delivery services;
establishments that do not serve food will be forced to suspend their operations completely.
We know that the decision to close is one that has weighed heavily on many of you over the past few days – and that many of had already voluntarily decided to take this difficult step – but please know that we remain committed to helping you navigate what comes next.
