Campaign Meeting

Weds 6th October at 8pm to 9.30pm

Once again we will be holding a hybrid meeting:
  • in person at Vinters Studios, 1b Sunnyhill Road, London SW16 2UG
  • online with Zoom.
Please register in the usual way and then you can join by whichever method you like! Joining details can change so don't rely on past information. Please don't pass on Zoom details to anyone - ask them to register themselves.

As usual, we have an update on latest activities, and talk about next steps for our campaign.

Our next regular campaign meeting will be in four weeks time, 3rd November, and every four weeks thereafter until further notice.

Everyone is welcome.

Click the button below to register at Eventbrite. Eventbrite will email you reminders and joining instructions.
To take part in person, just come along to the venue.
To access the Zoom meeting joining link, for security reasons you will need to be logged in to Eventbrite (using the account you used to register). However, you do not need to have a Zoom account to join. More about how our online meetings work can be found on our website.

Streatham Festival 2021

We'll be taking part in the upcoming Streatham Festival with two exciting activities.
Organised by an experienced London Blue Badge Guide, teams (each of up to 6 people) can take part in a hunt for clues around the Streatham Hill area near the theatre, with prizes for the best results. Entry is FREE! Turn up outside the theatre at 2pm on Saturday 16th October.

Prizes have been donated by local businesses, who we thank very much for their support.

There are details on our website about how to take part.

ONLINE

Explore the Streatham Hill Theatre’s amazing heritage and imagine potential amazing futures!

As we don’t have access to the theatre itself, The Friends had planned a pop-up space in a disused shop front in Streatham Hill. Unfortunately for us, but really great for the high road, the empty shops are being rapidly reoccupied so we’ve not been able to secure a physical space.

Therefore we have moved our Imaginarium online. On our website you will be able to see exhibitions of photos, view videos and see presentations, covering the heritage of Streatham Hill Theatre, and concerning its future. And you will have the chance to contribute to visions for that future!

You can enter the Imaginarium here – opens on 8th October 2021

Volunteer Help Still Needed!

As we come out of lockdown and people are returning to work, many of our volunteers have much less time to help the campaign, meaning we are now relying on a small number of people.

We've had responses from a few new volunteers but there's still room for more!

CAN YOU HELP PLEASE?

If you are able to help, we need volunteers to help look after our social media, co-ordinate and run our events (including the festival events below), engage with stakeholders, and generally run the campaign. Please take a look at our volunteer page for more info.

Please come along to a campaign meeting or drop us an email! THANKS.
