Sonoma County is one of the finest regions for growing world-class Pinot Noir. The Clines were early pioneers in southern Sonoma County, planting Pinot Noir vines almost 20 years ago. The location that Fred Cline selected benefits from a coastal mountain opening that spans from the Pacific Ocean, through the town of Petaluma and on to the San Pablo Bay. In summer, vines experience foggy mornings and cooling evenings balanced by sun-drenched warm afternoons. These growing conditions allow the fruit to hang longer, fully ripen and mature which adds bright acidity and intense flavors.

"Our Pinot has
an extraordinary elegance, and a silky red berry scented bouquet with flavorful layers of raspberry, dark chocolate, cedar and lilacs and a lingering and complex finish." - Cline Cellars

Cline Cashmere Black Magic Red 2016
"This aptly named blend of Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Mourvèdre, Carignan and Alicante Bouschet was aged in French oak, 35% new, for 12 months. It’s opaque in the glass with a distinctive nose of cough syrup, grilled meat, sweet smoke, licorice and ripe cassis. Über round and plush on the palate, it features flavours of cassis, ripe blackberry, tangy raspberry, lavender, vanilla and an all spice note trailing in the fruity, dry finish. This full-bodied charmer is fantastic with roasted portobello mushrooms with chestnut stuffing. Score: 90 Pts." - Louise Boutin,
Cline Old Vine Zinfandel
Medium ruby colour; intense ripe, raspberry and black fruit aromas with hints of earthy, spice and chocolate; dry with generous blackberry fruit flavours and a rich mouthfeel; spicy long finish.

"An interesting mineral aroma lends a distinct profile to this otherwise full-bodied, dry and moderately tannic wine. It has a good palate-cleansing grip, plus raspberry and mineral flavors and a tangy finish. Score: 88 Pts." - Jim Gordon, Wine Enthusiast
