Enjoy this scarily delicious Spider Web Cocktail with Stroh Original 54 Spiced Rum!

3-4 oz coffee
1.5 oz Stroh Original 54 Spiced Rum
1 tsp of cream or milk
Ice cubes
Marshmallows for garnish
Toasted marshmallows for additional garnish (optional)

Combine the coffee and rum in a martini shaker. Pour into a rocks glass over ice and stir in a teaspoon of cream or milk.  

In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the marshmallows for 30 seconds until puffed. Stir briefly and let cool slightly. Pick up some of the marshmallow with a fork or knife and stretch across the top of the glass. Repeat until there is considerable webbing across the opening of the glass.

The Maison Sichel family of Château Palmer fame has been a part of winemaking in Bordeaux for some six generations. Château Argadens was purchased by the Sichel family in 2002, and renamed after the noble family who founded the estate back in the 13th century.

Château Argadens Bordeaux Supérieur has a nice dark garnet red colour, showing the richness of the exceptional 2016 vintage. The complex and expressive bouquet is a harmonious mixture of dark red fruits aromas and very elegant oaky notes. It is a crisp and sappy wine which offers sweetness and richness on the palate. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc add the necessary freshness to enhance the pleasant tannins of the Merlot.

Halloween isn't just for kids. Celebrate at home with a festive "Hallowine" Sangria cocktail.

1 (750-ml) bottle red wine, such as Malbec or Cabernet Sauvignon
1/2 cup pomegranate, cherry, or blueberry juice
1/4 cup brandy
1/4 cup pure maple syrup, to taste
1 cup blackberries
2 black plums, chopped into wedges
1 cup black grapes, halved
Liqueur options: caramel, vanilla, orange, apple.

Add all ingredients to a large pitcher and stir well. Allow sangria to sit for at least 2 hours (overnight is best) before serving over ice. Add some of the alcohol-soaked fruit to each glass.
