Hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend.
On Sunday, we celebrated the 15th Sunday After Pentecost with a 10 a.m. service, both in-person and online. If you missed yesterday's service, you can just click here. You can also view/download the bulletin here.
We welcomed Warren Blyden back to the organ bench. Arkady will be back next week.
If your circumstances permit, please continue to keep your pledges up to date. You may do so by mail or online using Tithely. Simply click the donate button on the website or click here.
Liturgical Gifts
The Altar flowers are given by John and Carol Crowe to the glory of God and in celebration of their 66th wedding anniversary.
There is availability for liturgical gifts throughout the year. To offer a thank-offering or memorial, please call the parish office or sign-up in the book in the Narthex.

“Welcome Back Sunday” and "Blessing of the Backpacks"
The Summer has flown by and it is time for our program year and the academic year to begin. This coming Sunday will be our first Youth and Family Sunday, and the liturgy will include “blessing of backpacks.” If you are a student (or teacher) bring the tools of your trade with you next Sunday for a special blessing. Those who are distant may join with a special Zoom hook-up. (Link to follow). Anyone who is would simply like to watch the event, may do so on our website AllSaintsBayside.org.
Covid and weather permitting, we will celebrate the return to fall with an outdoor coffee hour.

All Saints Sunday
Join us for the celebration of our feast day! In honor of the occasion, and the celebration of the one year anniversary of the return to in-person worship we will be having a "Come As You Were Sunday"! Those attending the service are encouraged to wear what they wore to church during the Great Separation. It is going to be a wonderful celebration and we hope to see you there, but as with all major liturgies at All Saints the service will be live-streamed.
Saturday, December 4
The Holly Bazaar Live (hopefully!) and Online
Bayside's Favorite Christmas Fair, The Holly Bazaar is held every year on the first Saturday in December. The event features all sorts of vendors, food items, and kids activities. Held on the first weekend of December, the Holly Bazaar is All Saints’ signature annual fund (and fun) raiser. In addition to hosting vendors of new and attractive items ranging from handcrafted jewelry to stained glass to festive socks, the Bazaar is a showcase for the talents of several groups in the parish. Last year we launched our online version of the Holly Bazaar, while we hope to return to a more normal in-person event for 2021, the online event will also be taking place!
The Bottom of the B arrel
...is not something we want to see. As your circumstances permit, please continue to bring food for the food pantry. Food insecurity is a growing concern for many people right now.
Mother Karen shared with the Deanery clergy that demand at the food pantry is way up. All Saints has been a generous supplier, and hope we can continue to be.

Show your parish pride with “Church Merch,” “Sacred Swag” or whatever you call a great collection of custom T-shirts, drink-ware, and more available at the All Saints Shop! Visit via our website. Each item you buy helps to fund our mission and ministry.

Have a wonderful week!
