Happy November All Sainters!
On Sunday, we celebrated the 22nd Sunday After Pentecost with a 10 a.m. service, both in-person and online. We also celebrated the one year anniversary of our return to in-person services with a "Come As You Were" theme -- a mash-up with Halloween too.
If you missed yesterday's service, you can just click here. You can also view/download the bulletin here.
A Halloween-themed Sunday school episode also premiered. Check it out as its fun and appropriate for children of all ages with a number of special guest appearances.
Finally, if your circumstances permit, please continue to keep your pledges up to date. You may do so by mail or online using Tithely. Simply click the donate button on the website or click here.
The Altar Flowers are given by Paul and Susan Parfrey to the glory of God and in celebration of the 11th birthday of their granddaughter Maya Shea Parfrey.
The Sanctuary Lamp is given by Paul and Susan Parfrey to the glory of God and in loving memory of Kevin Higgins.
The Vigil lamp is given by Pat Walton to the glory of God and in celebration of the birthday (10/25) of her grandson, Nicholas.
The bread and wine of the Eucharist are given by Pat Walton to the glory of God and in loving memory of her mother, Enid Hassell on the 113th anniversary of her birth.
There is availability for liturgical gifts throughout the year. To offer a thank-offering or memorial, please call the parish office or sign-up in the book in the Narthex.

READ ALL ABOUT IT!
First a big thank you to the many generous "Tent Angels" (aka parishioners).
The new tents for the Holly Bazaar are being ordered as we speak.
Also, many thanks to all who attended last week's Holly Bazaar Zoom Meeting. As we continue our move back to the “new” normal, we are excited to announce that the Holly Bazaar will return this year both online and in-person as a new merchandise vendor event taking place indoors and outdoors under tents.
Being planned for 2021.....
Trees/Wreathes/Poinsettias (Stella Elder, coordinator) - We will be taking pre-orders for all theseitems and ask for payment at the time of pre-order. More info on pricing coming shortly.
Raffle Baskets (Pat Walton, Coordinator) – We need individuals to donate prepared “themed” baskets – think Basket of Cheer, Movie Night, Cozy up with a Good Book, Pasta Night, The 12 Days of Christmas, Game Night... you get the idea. We ask that the basket reflect a minimum monetary value of $25. We are asking for adult themed baskets only. We already have parishioners who have committed to children’s themed baskets. Completed baskets must be turned in no later than Sunday, November 21, 2021. We have plenty of empty baskets if you need one to fill.
ECW Jewelry Shop (Judy Batashoff, coordinator) Bayside’s favorite estate jewelry outlet
Teddy’s Corner (Susan Byrne, coordinator)-Children’s activities and gifts
Elsie’s Emporium (Diana Schillizzi, coordinator) The best of pre-loved treasures of all kinds.
Megan’s Gingerbread House (The re-imagined All Saints Café) –(Megan Monfiston, coordinator)- Hot drinks, packaged treats and S’mores kits around the mini bonfire

Most importantly, we need volunteers in the following areas:
Ingathering on Sunday, November 21 following the church service (focus on Common Room)
Set-up on Friday, December 3, 2021 11:00 AM until done
Staffing church tables on Saturday, December 4, 2021
Clean-up on Saturday, December 4 (3-6 p.m.)
A simple coffee hour was held once again. May we continue to be blessed with beautiful weather for as many Sundays as possible. However, we do need volunteers to help with set-up and clean-up. We expect to have a coffee hour host sign-up sheet posted on the board soon.
The St. Cecelia Choir Needs You
It has been said that “those who sing pray twice.” If you like to sing, please consider joining the choir.
UPDATE: Rehearsals will be on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM. (Yes, you may bring your coffee!)
We are fortunate to have an excellent teacher leading us! If you would like to try it out, please speak to Arkady.

The Holly Bazaar Live and Online
10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Bayside's Favorite Christmas Fair, The Holly Bazaar is held every year on the first Saturday in December. The event features all sorts of vendors, food items, and kids activities. Held on the first weekend of December, the Holly Bazaar is All Saints’ signature annual fund (and fun) raiser. In addition to hosting vendors of new and attractive items ranging from handcrafted jewelry to stained glass to festive socks, the Bazaar is a showcase for the talents of several groups in the parish. Last year we launched our online version of the Holly Bazaar, while we hope to return to a more normal in-person event for 2021, the online event will also be taking place!
The Bottom of the Barrel
...is not something we want to see. As your circumstances permit, please continue to bring food for the food pantry. Food insecurity is a growing concern for many people right now.
Mother Karen shared with the Deanery clergy that demand at the food pantry is way up. All Saints has been a generous supplier, and hope we can continue to be.
Show your parish pride with “Church Merch,” “Sacred Swag” or whatever you call a great collection of custom T-shirts, drink-ware, and more available at the All Saints Shop! Visit via our website. Each item you buy helps to fund our mission and ministry.
