I am going to be honest with you...
Hey everyone! Thank you so much for being a part of my email updates and a part of my home support group. I just got back To Perth from the States a couple weeks ago. So I have been settling in and getting back into daily life here. One highlight since being back is when my friend and I were in the city doing evangelism, and we ran into a middle eastern man who we had talked to before. He was so happy to see us and took us out for coffee at a shop nearby. We sat and talked and encouraged Him! He told me: "you have a good soul, I can see it in your face". It was such a nice time! We have plans to meet up again and do Bible studies.
Ok, I am going to be very honest with y'all. One of the things I have really struggled with since being a missionary, over the past couple years, has been fundraising and asking people partner with me financially. I believe that if you want something, You need to work hard for it, and so I wrestled with the idea of asking for other people to donate to my work here.
But one day God changed my perspective. My leader shared with me one day: "you're not asking for people's money. You're giving them an opportunity to be a part of what God is doing in the nations! When people partner with God, they actually get to have that nation, people group, etc as part of their inheritance!
So when you support a ministry or missionary through prayer or finances, you actually are a part of what God is doing there, and for that reason, the salvations, the breakthrough, and the victories in the spiritual realm... are all yours too!
