  • Workday this Saturday: Join us Saturday, September 8, and spend a few hours painting, cleaning, and otherwise maintaining the Mustard Seed. We'll get started at 9am and wrap up around 1 or 2.
  • Narcan training: Opioid overdoses continue to be a problem in Worcester. AIDS Project Worcester will be training Mustard Seed volunteers how to respond to an overdose, including the use of Narcan. The class is September 13 at 3pm at the Mustard Seed. Please RSVP at info@mustardseedcw.org so they can be sure to bring enough Narcan.
  • Mass times: Holy Mass will be celebrated in the Fr. Bernard E. Gilgun Memorial Chapel upstairs at the Mustard Seed on September 7 and October 12 at 7pm. Father John Foley of Saint Anne's Parish in Shrewsbury will be our celebrant. Please join us as the Spirit moves!
  • Friday prayer: Every Friday when no mass is scheduled, we pray vespers together in the dining room at 6:45pm, right after cleaning up for the night. All are invited to join us.
  • Afternoon volunteers wanted: We are still gearing up to have afternoon activities as we expand our afternoon hours this fall. For more information, call Mike at 508-499-9638.
It's been a great joy being at the Mustard Seed this summer, watching hundreds of volunteers helping hundreds of guests. Thank you for your service and fellowship.
