It has been a calm and positive (and cold) month at the Mustard Seed! Coming up: prayer, discussion, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Mass times: Holy Mass will be celebrated in the chapel upstairs at the Mustard Seed on several upcoming Fridays at 7pm. March 1 the celebrant will be Fr. Paul O'Connell. April 12 and May 12 the celebrant will be Fr. John Foley. Please join us as the Spirit moves!
  • Discussion Meetings: One of the traditions of the Catholic Worker movement is discussions for the "clarification of thought." The next meeting, on environmentalism and "caring for creation," will be Monday, March 11, 7pm. (Facebook link)
  • Afternoon volunteers wanted: Most Tuesdays and Fridays we are now providing various low-key activities for our guests from 4-5pm each day. We are looking for volunteers to manage this program on other days of the week. For more information, call Mike at 508-499-9638.
  • Monday and Friday prayer: Every Monday and Friday (when no mass is scheduled) we pray vespers together at the Mustard Seed at 6:30pm, right after cleaning up for the night. All are invited to join us.
We feel blessed to be able to do this work, alongside all of you. Thank you for your service and fellowship.
