Hello Nordic Folk!
With the arrival of 220 young racers for the BC Midget Championships at the start of the month, March certainly came in like a lion at the RNSC. More sunshine is on the way and we have lots of snow so get out there and enjoy the trails.
As we mentioned in our last letter, we are trying a new way of sending email updates. If you do not want to receive these RNSC emails, you may unsubscribe at any time.
We also want to thank-you for supporting our club through your membership fees, your volunteering, and your efforts to help members and guests work with our guidelines and policies. Here is the news for March:

Free Rentals Continue for 16 and Under!
This winter, the RNSC explored a free rental program for skiers aged 16 and under. This program has encouraged fitness for youth, promoted accessibility to the sport for families, and we are pleased to extend this program to the end of the season.

The Ski League Mini-Olympics
Yesterday, the ski league program wrapped up for the 2018 season with the ever-popular Mini-Olympics. There were terrain park courses, speed traps, slalom courses, tug-of-wars, and much more. Thanks to the Athletic Development Committee for their co-ordination and planning this season.
The RNSC also wishes to thank the volunteer parents and volunteer coaches who gave their time each week to guide and grow our young Nordic skiers. We have published the long list of volunteer coaches in our 2018 Newsletter. Thank-you for your time on the trails!

Update!!! The Nationals in Thunder Bay
Revelstoke racers are doing a fantastic job representing our club at the 2018 National Championships in Thunder Bay, Ontario. There have been two races so far, and Revelstoke has has shown that they know their way to the podium.
Kate Granstrom and Alana Brittin earned a silver medal in Saturday's Team Sprint event. In Sunday's 5K Classic race, the gold and silver medals went to Alana Brittin and Beth Granstrom respectively. You can find all the race results at the Ski Nationals result page.
Good luck to all of our racers in the days ahead, and thanks to our head coach Matt Smider and the support crew of parents for working hard to make this race series a success.
Congratulations Revelstoke!
