Program Presentation:  .  Ryan and Anna Falk of Brown Bottle Farm will be sharing their knowledge of Companion Gardening with Mushrooms and Easily Cultivated Mushrooms for Home Growers. The focus will be on easy cultivars that can stand the Pacific Northwest climate, grow delicious gourmet mushrooms, and benefit the soil microbiome. They'll take us through the steps of oyster mushroom cultivation without the need for lab equipment or a sterile environment from beginning to fruiting body. In addition to growing mushrooms they are avid wild foragers and fermenters creating specialty products using vegetables and mushrooms such as kraut, pickled mushrooms, dried mushrooms, vinegar infusions, and more!
