The current business world is changing very rapidly and it requires to focus not only on today's requirements for leaders’ competences, but also to anticipate what competencies will determine success in the future.
The modern leader has high and constantly changing requirements to maintain professionalism, modernity, and to develop awareness. Leaders must constantly be able to initiate, manage emerging changes and stressful situations, and collaborate effectively with large groups of people. As part of the Eviva project, the third workshop in the Entrepreneurial Nest was held on December 10th. The workshop was led by dr Marija Orlandić and the topic was "Road to Success". In an interactive conversation with students, she tried to explain the concept of entrepreneurship with a series of practical examples, but also to make students ask themselves whether they are also entrepreneurs? dr Orlandić pointed out that an entrepreneur is a dreamer who sees life as it should or could be, not as it is.
Jeff Teo holds more than fifteen years of experience in cybersecurity expertise. After he left Singapore to pursue an educational path in the United States, he became fascinated by the cybersecurity field and has continued improving his competencies ever since. Given the recent partnership between LCC International University and Cybint Solutions, Dr.Teo will be facilitating the Cybersecurity Bootcamp to increase the number of well-qualified cybersecurity professionals in this evolving area, an important goal of his Fulbright initiative.
