Meet the "O" Litter!
Thanks to everyone who submitted puppy names for these 8-week old puppies! We would like to introduce: Otis, Oakley, Ozzie, Olive, Onyx, Ola and O'Malley. The puppies are all thriving! They are learning basic training skills like sit, down, and recall. Of course they love to play, snuggle, and get plenty of naps.

ADH Visits Emmanuel Lutheran Day Camp

We had a fun and educational visit to Emmanuel Lutheran Day Camp to talk about ADH with their students. They learned about the types of dogs that we train, the different training stages, and saw a demonstration by Service Dog In-Training Grace and Puppy-In-Training Nalu. The children were happy to see us and asked lots of fun and interesting questions. Grace and Nalu reveled in the love and attention from the children!
Congratulations to Nalu!
Nalu successfully graduated from his first phase of training, Puppy Kindergarten, and now enters Basic Training. Nalu passed his exam by performing various skills, including a tricky timed "down-stay" with many distractions. Nalu is a calm and mellow 6-month old puppy, and has done well on outings to the movies, stores, and the pickleball court!

What's Up Zadoc?

Zadoc has been very busy working at Shriner's Children's Hospital in Honolulu. Apart from his daily doses of love and snuggles, he also recently helped visit children and families during their annual scoliosis night where Shriner's staff provided information and education to the community.

Charity Walk

Please join the Assistance Dogs of Hawaii team for the 43rd annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk! There are 2 options for participating this year: the virtual walk is from August 13-20 via the MoveSpring app. The in-person walk will be held at War Memorial on Saturday August 20, 2022, with a walk through the beautiful Keopualani Park and Kahului. Or you can do both! Both options have the chance to win amazing door prizes. It's easy to sign up online and collect donations that will be matched by the Maui Visitor Industry. Sign up or donate to the ADH team online here.
Please support Assistance Dogs of Hawaii and help change the life of someone with a physical disability or other special need. Donations of all amounts are greatly appreciated.
