Assistance Dogs of Hawaii's Hospital Facility Dog Samson and the patients and staff of The Queen's Medical Center
More than 8,000 hospitalized patients in Hawaii and their families were comforted through the Hospital Facility Dog Program, including many pediatric patients. This program has been especially important this year as many hospitals are not allowing visitors, so receiving daily visits from the Hospital Facility Dogs has been a lifeline for many patients, and the heroic frontline workers too!
More than 1,000 children who were victims of or witnesses to crime received comfort and courage through our Courthouse Dog Program. Sadly, domestic violence has been on the rise this past year bringing greater demand for this program which supports children throughout the legal process.
This holiday season, please help us help those who are most vulnerable in our community at a time when they need it the most! Please make a year-end donation today at assistancedogshawaii.org and support our mission because nothing brings hope and healing like a dog!
