Message from the Secretariat

Dear GEN Friends and Members,

What a wonderful start to the year it has been for member connection!

Thanks so much to those involved and contributing to the GEN community.

We have been spreading the word globally with Bjorn-Erik Lonn, our Chair and I presenting and supporting capability building with ILO on the importance of sustainable procurement.

In the background, our team has been getting ready for the new website, a fast-approaching World Ecolabel Day on the 13th of October and our upcoming AGM.

Despite being virtual again this year, we have meaningful and important things to share with you, so please save the date.

Lastly, I also want to acknowledge that amongst the many exciting GEN activities and positive progress, we acknowledge there are still challenging situations across the globe that are impacting our members personally.

These are not forgotten and stay very much in our hearts and minds.
Our global family of care for people and the planet remains a key priority, and we wish for resolution, peace and well-being for us all.
