Positive Directions - Update

We are currently running Positive Directions which is a support programme designed for young people aged 16 to 24 who are not in education, employment or training.

6 young people who signed up in the summer have now progressed into Education, including GCSE programmes run by Kingston College and a construction based study programme at MIT skills.

2 young people have also secured childcare apprenticeships and 1 young person has moved onto employment in the Hospitality sector.

These young people have worked hard to achieve these new opportunities and we wish them luck in their future.

We would also like to say well done to the 5 young people that have nearly completed their Level 1 Employability award as part of the programme and the 2 young people who are close to completing a level 1 Award in Early Years.

If you would like to know more about Positive Directions and get support into education/employment or training then please contact sharon.pratt@achievingforchildren.org.uk
