South Thames Colleges Open Days   South Thames College group will be running virtual tours around all 4 of their colleges so you can view the surroundings before you start. The next open event will be on 9 December, and you can book your space using the links below.

Motor Vehicle Traineeship   North London Garages in Hounslow are promoting their current traineeship vacancy in which eager young people have the chance to apply for a motor vehicle work experience position. Throughout this traineeship you will be taught subjects such as servicing vehicles, maintenance, repairs, and more, including functional skills if necessary. You can apply if you are aged 16-24, unemployed, and qualified below level 3. Click here to apply. 

IWR Creative Competition  Independent and Work Ready host regular competitions particularly aimed at those with a disability, learning difficulty and/or a chronic health issue. The theme of this competition is mythical creatures with unique personality traits, so all you need to do is submit your art piece alongside a description of your creature. To assist you with this, they also run SEND based product design work experience via Zoom, so if you need help you can contact them at independentandworkready@gmail.com. The winning entry will be made into socks and notebooks, whilst others will be added to their website and an illustrated book. To find out more, click here

Part Time Christmas Sales Assistant   Flying Tiger Copenhagen in Kingston are looking for a Christmas sales assistant to temporarily join their team throughout the busiest period of the year. This vacancy will require you to work at least 16 hours per week, however, the days are fully flexible Monday-Sunday, so you can arrange your shifts to suit you. Apprenticeship spotlight


Business Administration Level 3   SPA Property Maintenance are are advertising a level 3 apprenticeship vacancy to undertake administrative tasks for their team. Based in Twickenham, this job requires you to work either 8am - 4pm, or 9am - 5pm. Click here to apply. 

Domestic Assistant Level 2   Greensleeves Care in Barnes are recruiting a new apprentice to join their staff. The main foundations of this apprenticeship are cleaning and maintaining facilities and rooms for the home's residents whilst ensuring they are safe and comfortable in their surroundings. Customer Service Practitioner Level 2  This car dealership in Epsom are looking to hire a new apprentice to provide top quality service to their customers. On successful completion of this apprenticeship, you could be offered a permanent position within the company. Head2Work Programme


If you are a young person seeking work and would like to undertake some social action based work experience to enhance your CV and employment prospects, whilst contributing to your local community then AfC's Head2Work Programme is for you. 

Partnering with Voices of Hope, we are offering young people to be part of the project team, planning, resourcing and distributing 'Brite Box' Christmas Activity packs to families in Kingston who will benefit the most. 

You will also receive support from Metro bank to include the experience on your CV and to show you how you can use the experience and the skills developed to perform well in interviews.  Metro Bank Staff and our team will continue to support you after the project to seek and apply for paid work. 

The 4 week, part time social action project starts on 30 November and employability support will continue in the new year or until you receive a job offer.
