Last year, this is what I wrote about Aliko Dangote:
Aliko Dangote, is Africa’s wealthiest man, with a net worth of $14 billion. He is the chairman and CEO of Dangote Group which supplies Nigeria and the rest of Africa with cement, rice, cooking oil, sugar, and soft drinks, among other products and freight services.
Dangote was born in Nigeria in 1957, and it is remarkable that he has risen to such wealth and prominence outside of the tech arena, and that he appears to have a relatively quiet life free from scandal.
Now a year later, Dangote’s net worth is estimated at $18.7 billion.
Wikipedia tells us further that Dangote has been married and divorced twice, and lives a “simple and austere lifestyle; he reportedly works 12 hours a day beginning at 5am and goes to the gym six times a week.”

The nuggets in this section of our newsletter come mainly from our monthly A Course in Miracles (ACIM) calls. These ACIM calls have been going on in one form or another since 2010.

Our theme for 2023 is "Miracles in ACIM." Past themes have included Peace, Light, Atonement, Meditation, Forgiveness, and Love. We usually start the new theme for the current year in November of the previous year.
