This season, give the gift of education.
A young woman at Mara Girls Leadership School told us this year she wants to be "the first female engineer in the Maasai Mara," and she's now well on her way to fulfilling that dream at one of the top high schools in Nairobi. In Morocco, too, we hear from so many kids who were students in our earliest projects and are now going on to college, the first in their families to do so.
I hope you've been as moved and thrilled by our updates and stories as I have been these past 7 years. We especially love to share the stories written by young people on the ground. These may be the greatest reward.
2020 was such a challenging year, and we deeply appreciate our members and the extra contributions to the COVID-19 emergency fund. We helped feed 4000 Maasai villagers, while still completing all but one of our planned education projects for schools and communities in Morocco and the Maasai Mara.
Now, we're looking ahead to 2021 with hope and resilience. We're doubling down on literacy and environmental education with innovative new projects that will make a genuine impact today and well beyond this moment in time. Building on our strong partnerships, past successes, and your support, we can do so much more in the coming year.
