Where Women Belong

Where Women Belong, is an org started by early-career women in tech in Silicon Valley California to help college women break into tech. They consist of software engineers, product managers and design people from top tech companies, who are recent graduates ourselves and have faced the struggles of navigating internship season, insanely difficult CS classes and the imposter syndrome at work.

As a part of their mission to help college women break into tech jobs/internships and become badass female founders. They have:

A Podcast ( where we talk to women from companies such as Uber, Google, Visa on how they broke into their roles in tech ranging from PM, SWE to Design.

Matching program to connect:
- Early-stage female founders with talented, college and early-career women who are passionate about helping build these companies with their talent.
- Or, college founders with other women who are willing to help/work at/co-found companies whilst in college.

If interested in partaking in the Matching program, please fill out this form and they will work to match you with amazing opportunities.

GRE Optional for Select Departments
UC Berkeley current undergraduates and alumni applying to the seven engineering departments who earned their UC Berkeley Bachelor's degree with a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA are not required to submit GRE scores with their application. This option is open to any UC Berkeley current undergraduates and alumni from all majors, though we strongly recommend the GRE for those who hold non-technical degrees or feel the scores would be a positive addition to their application.
