For Alumni

Attention all Berkeley AWElumni! Do you want to give back to the AWE community after graduation? You can share your knowledgeable insight on life after Berkeley with our growing community of women interested in EE & CS.

AWE is launching new programs including virtual donuts (1-1 meetings) between undergrads and alumni, an Alumni Spotlight, and Ask Me Anything slack channel, and even more in the future!

Please fill out this quick interest form so we can get in touch. Go Bears! Stay safe and healthy!

I'm interested!
Fill out the ESC demographic form!

ESC is the Engineering Student Council, a group of Berkeley Engineering student representatives. They are collecting important demographic info to show who makes up the engineering community -- you can help by filling it out and letting them know that you are a part of AWE!

Let's go!

AWE Events & Opportunities

SambaNova Breaktime

     Friday, April 17 @ 12:00-1:00pm
     Zoom

Curious about startups? You got questions, we got answers!
We invite you to join a few of our women engineers who will share their experience of what startups are all about. SambaNova specifically builds AI solutions.

Panel will be moderated by the recruiter and will include:
Mary Jo Doherty, the VP of Engineering. Her first job was decidedly not tech related - picking blueberries at 10 cents a pint. An avid cyclist, Mary Jo logs about 3000 miles annually.
Katia Patkin, a Senior Software Engineer on the ML team. When her schedule allows, she enjoys horseriding and snowboarding.
Aarti Lalwani, a Software Engineer on the Runtime team. She loves a good hot sauce and reading sci-fi in her spare time.

Engineering Triva Night

Think you have what it takes to be a trivia champion? Test out your Berkeley Engineering knowledge or just flex that random fact you know about that one EECS Professor! This event is in collaboration with HKN and IEEE!
