It's the most wonderful time of the year! We've been very busy these past few weeks, and we have you to thank for that. Thank you so much for your continued support of the store. Our Christmas displays are in full swing, as is our Holiday Gift display. Next week, we'll be putting up a little stocking stuffer display. When you're looking for ideas, remember also that you can view our Holiday Gift Guide online!

We have our last author event of the year tomorrow - our Saturday Morning Story Time with local authors Heather Lang and Melissa Stewart. Both write great non-fiction books for kids, and we're excited to welcome them back to the store tomorrow. After that, we will go roughly a month without any author events, as we take a break for the holidays and to plan out 2019's event calendar!

That's it - we'll keep it short and sweet today. Everyone is busy today, the last thing you want is to read a long newsletter! Happy holidays!

PS - A huge, huge congrats to local author and our Middle Grade Book Club host and super friend of the store, Rebecca Caprara on signing a new, two-book contract! We're eagerly awaiting Worst-Case Collin!
A Book Club to Look Forward To:
Friday Fiction Book Club
Next Meeting: Friday, Jan. 4, 10 am
Beautiful Ruins
by Jess Walter

This write-up comes courtesy of our Friday Fiction Book Club host and very good friend of the store, Kyra Wilson Cook:

After a delightful discussion about Mudbound, the Friday Fiction Book Club is meeting on Friday, January 4th to discuss Jess Walter's Beautiful Ruins. A book that sweeps from the Italian coastline to Los Angeles, this is a story about love and timing. Moments move from light to serious, but never too heavy. Jess deftly moves the story and emotion, the pacing perfect for a quick and enjoyable read. This month, you can indulge in warm settings, glamorous people (Richard Burton!? Liz Taylor!?), and a fun story after all the gifts are open and the guests have gone home. Be sure to join us! Bring your own coffee and we'll bring the baked goods from Legend Cafe!

Can't join us in January? See you in February! We're discussing Jasmine Guilloroy's The Proposal!
