It feels like it’s been a long soggy autumn and we all need a pick me up. So we are marking this year’s countdown to Christmas with an extra special gift to you - our GenderGP advent calendar. We have invited some familiar faces, plus a few friends, to share a photo and a festive wish with our community. These will be displayed on our social media channels to brighten up your December days. You can find us @GenderGP on FacebookTwitter and Instagram.
We hope that you enjoy it.

With love from all of the team at GenderGP xxx

All we want for Christmas is you!

Join us in celebrating our awesome community this festive season by sending us your favourite winter picture of yourself, together with your Christmas wish for the trans community and we will upload it to our photo gallery. Email Aby

My NHS trans journey: November

As we move into December and we start the countdown to 2020, I wanted to take a moment to reflect. It has been eighteen months since I started diarising my experiences on HRT. I am always acutely aware that those who read this will be at different stages on their journey. We receive so much incredible feedback from our community and we are hugely grateful to anyone who takes the time to interact with us - whatever your comments we want to know. Google also allows you to rate and review our service here
Such reviews can help others to find us and decide if we might be a good fit for them.

Christmas surgery hours
Please note that we will be running a reduced operation over the Christmas period, from Tuesday 24th December 2019, at 6pm, until 9am on Monday, 2nd January, 2020. As a result, responses may take a little longer the unusual to process. We will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Should you require a prescription to cover the festive period, requests should be with us no later than 17th December 2019. All blood results should be submitted by then too, in order to ensure plenty of time for review and for prescriptions to be issued.

We'd love to hear from you...

Whether you would like to share your experiences as part of our community or you would like us to visit your trans support group, as part of the GenderGP roadshow – get in touch.
