Happy Pride month!

As Pride month draws to a close, we wanted to take the opportunity to wave our collective virtual flags for the trans community. Many organisations are holding their events this weekend (June 27th and 28th) including the first ever Global Pride 2020, a 24 hour live event being streamed online. We have included links below so that you can check them out.

Wherever you are and whatever you are doing this weekend, we want to let you know that we are incredibly proud to be part of this fantastic community.

Share your Pride 2020 pics and we will include them in next month’s newsletter.

Speak to a member of our Pathway Team

While our Help Centre is set up to answer all of your questions and queries, we understand that sometimes you need to speak to a human being. In response, we have introduced a new service which allows you to book a phone appointment with a member of our Pathway Team. The service will run for a limited period and will be expanded, based on how it is received by our community. To book your £25 session with Katie, click on the link below:

While restrictions currently in place mean we may not be able to don our brightest outfits and take to the streets - we can still celebrate Pride virtually. Here is a list of some of the activities taking place that you might want to explore - please note many of these are taking place today (June 27th):

Global Pride

will see the first ever worldwide gathering of the LGBT+ community on June 27th. Princes, Presidents and superstar celebrities have been confirmed and it is set to be a celebration like nothing we have seen before!

End of an era as trans role model Janett Scott passes away

I was devastated to hear of the passing of Janett Scott on Saturday (June 20, 2020). Janett was the president of the Beaumont society in the 80s and 90s. During that time, if there was ever a story relating to trans issues, Janett was the expert to whom the media would turn for comment.
