Children's Rights and the Federal Election
Young people are not allowed to vote, but they will be affected by the outcome of this election. Use your voice to ask candidates about their policies for children. In May the CCRC asked each party to consider 10 Steps for Children as they developed their platforms for the election. Five of these are specific policy areas and five are systemic measures to advance implementation of all children's rights. Check out 10 Questions Voters Can Ask and choose one or two to ask when you meet candidates in your area.
