The Local Food Challenge - 30 Days of Nebraska-raised.
From September 1st - 30th we want to encourage people across Nebraska to enjoy, cook, purchase, and share more locally grown food. The Local Food Challenge is a way for Nebraskans to make a 30 day commitment to local food.

By registering for the challenge you are committing to do what you personally can to eat more locally grown food and discover why it’s important to you.

Local Food Activity Sheet - How Many Squares Can You Complete?

We know that finding and using locally grown products is a challenge in itself - that’s why we’ve created a virtual calendar of educational and celebratory events featuring local food, visit it at:

When you register for the challenge you’ll receive resources to help you find and use locally grown food. Along with resources you’ll receive a Local Food Activity Sheet. Complete as many challenge squares on your activity sheet as you can during the month of September.

For fun & camaraderie, share photos of your local food activities, meals and celebrations, and personal victories on our Facebook group @NebraskaLocalFoodChallenge, or use the hashtag #EatLocalNebraska.
