The FIRE-IN Newsletter
e-FIRE-IN platform is back!
Register and browse more than 200 solutions in Fire&Rescue

On March 10th, a fire broke out on the site of OVHcloud - the host of data in Strasbourg. The FIRE-IN platform was immediately restored with recently saved data, however, if you registered or submitted a solution within the few weeks prior to the accident, your data might have been lost and we would like to invite you to resubmit it. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Dear FIRE-IN Friend,

As you see from the message above, no company is immune to fire accidents, as no country is immune to the current pandemic. Both in fighting fire and fighting viruses, we are stronger together, sharing knowledge and best practices. This is what our FIRE-IN project does best - sharing knowledge. Do not miss the opportunity to:

  • Become one of the FIRE-IN associated experts
  • If you are a practitioner - find a solution in your field that you might not have heard about
  • Promote your product - submit a solution if you are a technology provider or a researcher in the field
  • Browse through COVID-19 guidelines and best practices gathered  from Fire & Rescue Services from several European countries
Below are some examples of the solutions, submitted to the platform.

Stay healthy and safe!

How to find solutions on
To use the e-FIRE-IN platfrom's features to the fullest and quickly get to the relevant solutions you can go to: 1. Challenges and Resources and browse solutions through the Common Capability Challenges matrix (for example, you can look at Forecast and simulate complex scenarios and see what solutions are provided under this heading), or 2. Go to Docs And Search  and simpy search for a keyword (for example "drones" )
