Happy Winter!
***
Finally,
winter is here! After a long, tough year for all of us, the much-anticipated season of closure and renewal has arrived--closure on the historic year that is 2020, and the prospect of renewal in the new year coming, bringing the freshness of 'beginnings', the hope of recovery from the global pandemic, and the joy of finding some peace and normality again in our lives.
Celebrating the holidays may offer just the 'normality' some are looking for. For others, the ability to travel again, explore, and get out of the 'comfort' (or uncomfortably confined) zone is going to bring some familiarity back to what we will all consider 'normal' life. Some folks are already traveling, contacting me to assist them with their holiday transportation needs, and others are looking ahead to spring and summer fun, or their fall weddings, and help with planning their trips! There seems to be hope on the horizon, with the COVID-19 vaccine now being given to our healthcare workers here in Montana!
So far, winter has taken hold in the mountains, and gives the area ski resorts hope for a prosperous season. A few resorts and ski areas have already opened to the public, taking the necessary precautions with COVID in-mind, and altering the way they do business. Friends of mine have already hit the slopes, and are reporting excellent conditions! The Shuttle continues to operate "ski shuttle", but will, for now, keep interested groups separate (no 'mixed group' shuttling). This means, your group (close friends you may have already been 'hanging with' during the pandemic) and family groups can travel in your "Private Shuttle" to and from the mountain of your choice, at the usual 'mixed group rate'.
Last winter, I went downhill skiing for the first time in 18 years, at Blacktail Mountain in Lakeside, MT! It was a fantastic year for snow, and a great place to become reacquainted with a sport I had loved for so many years, long ago! Blacktail, opening today, is a smaller, family owned and operated ski resort, about 2-2.5 hours north of Missoula. After a perfect day on the slopes, I was happily exhausted (and sore), but wished I had someone else to do the driving! Trips like that are fun, and with the Shuttle, can be combined with a brewery or restaurant stop on the way home, to round out and celebrate the experience. Don't forget, the Shuttle serves cross country skiers and backcountry skiers and snowboarders as well!
I hope you find some peace of mind, and hope for the future in the days to come. With the winter solstice approaching, hope and relief may also come in the form of increasingly longer days... I wish you all well, and hope you are able to embrace the beauty that this new season brings!

COVID-19, MTAS, and Montana:
**For the remainder of the year and throughout January 2021, passengers will be required to wear face coverings during the entirety of their time on board the Shuttle.
I continue to sanitize between each group's trips, and wear my mask. I ask again, that you please consider that your hired driver(s), whoever they are, are still also at risk. Again, I thank you, sincerely, for your cooperation!
More details on the COVID situation and requirements for Montana can be found here, and links for other statewide info here.
Please consider checking the local coronavirus situation in the county/-ies you plan on visiting in Montana, before your arrival.
Thank you again for your continued support!!
As always, Hope you're well, and
~ Take Care! ~
