Endless roads, endless possibilities...

Welcome to Phase 2 - starting June 1st...

Here we go...Montana is on its way to further reopening the state to allow more businesses to return to full capacity (next phase is 75% for some businesses), and to allow tourism as well as other industries and businesses a fighting chance to recover and stay open, while the COVID-19 crisis is still occurring throughout the world. This new phase also means that the 14-day quarantine for out-of-state visitors is to be lifted; although, social distancing, the wearing of masks or face protectors, and other common sense hygiene practices are still encouraged (and in some places, recommended). More details on the Phase 2 reopening plan for Montana can be found here, or read the entire plan here (PDF file):

Meanwhile, MTAS will continue to help practice social distancing by allowing all trips to be "private" shuttle trips and tours (meaning, no mixed groups), at the mixed group pricing, through the month of June. I will continue to wear a mask, and offer them to passengers, as well as  gloves.
In addition, with the 14-day mandatory quarantine soon to be lifted, there will be more opportunities to enjoy the Missoula area, the region or the state without 'running into people'!
Let's let our collective creativity flow to design a dream trip for you and yours, while you soak in the beauty and adventure that Montana has to offer!

While the lull in activity for a company like mine was to be expected when the pandemic 'hit', activity is increasing; and travelers as well as myself are looking to summer to find relief, as we proceed with caution...
Road trips are good for the soul, so "let's go!"

That said, I hope you continue to look ahead with hope and reassurance that we will get through this, and continue to

~ "A study in the early 21st century has further association between improved health outcomes and amount of surrounding ‘green space’...that green exercise can improve mental well-being and markers of physiological health....[and] that green exercise might have a useful role in primary and secondary prevention of disease. "
[This was extracted from an article I read about exercising in the outdoors (aka "green space". True: I am a bit of a 'nerd' when it comes to fitness and nutrition.

~ There is an organization dedicated to tourism research for Montana?
The University of Montana is home to the Institute for Tourism and Recreation Research (ITRR), which does amazing work that regional tourism organizations, hospitality companies, outfitters and guides, transportation/tour companies and more utilize to help understand trends in travel to Montana, and what people seek when they want to recreate in here. A lot of data comes out of their work, which helps guide businesses like mine, to understand what visitors need!
