MTAS and other UPDATES:

Happy New Year!
***
And,
2020 is GONE! This is not news, of course, because I am a little late in getting this first newsletter of the year out to you folks.  As we are well-into February now, I will admit, I have been a bit distracted this winter--strapping my feet onto boards, which either launch me down a mountain, or, send me deep into the woods of our local forests, traversing miles of sometimes untouched roads and trails... I decided to embrace the opportunity winter affords me, with a much slower work schedule, and, the beauty that surrounds me, clothed in white!

Staying active and 'busy' outside, breathing fresh air, enjoying the beauty of powdery mountain snow has been a refreshing and therapeutic activity for me, as we continue to navigate the rough waters of the pandemic. "Ski Shuttle" is still an offering, however, I have not marketed for 'mixed group' shuttling this year, for cross-country, downhill skiers, snowboarders, snowshoers, and more.  While we are still keeping our safe distances from each other, only private groups/family groups, etc. will be traveling to the mountain resorts or local ski hills to recreate this winter...masks and all.

Still, while more snow has fallen here in the Missoula area, more would be better--the kind that falls heavy and stays awhile (hopefully until spring)--while we also await more COVID vaccinations for our community (as I am sure you all are, too).

What else is on the horizon? Summer travel planning!  Inquiries for spring and summer travels, wedding transportation, and trail head drop-offs are making their way increasingly into my inbox. It is a good sign, that tourists visiting Montana will show their lovely faces here again this year. As always, I recommend booking your transportation needs and tours as far in advance as possible... The shuttle operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
COVID-19, MTAS, and Montana:
We have a new governor, Governor Gianforte, who is planning to implement changes to the former governor's rules regarding masks, business hours and capacity, and more. Please visit our state's governement website (www.mt.gov) to bring yourselves up to date for your future travel plans here in Montana.
**Through spring of 2021 (exact date TBD), I ask passengers to please CONTINUE wearing their masks/face coverings during the entirety of their time on board the Shuttle, even if you have been vaccinated for coronavirus. There are no closer quarters, than inside a vehicle.
I continue to sanitize between each group's trips, and wear my mask. I ask again, that you please consider that your hired driver(s), whoever they are, are still also still at risk.
Again, I thank you, sincerely, for your cooperation!

More details on the COVID situation and requirements for Montana can be found here, and links for other statewide info here
Please consider checking the local coronavirus situation in the county/-ies you plan on visiting in Montana, before your arrival.

Thank you again for your continued support!!
As always, Hope you're well, and
Take Care! ~
