Japan & China are heading home 

A cruel late penalty against the run of play sent Japan home while Italy cruised past China to the quarter-finals.

Galli fires Italy through 

Super sub Aurora Galli now has 3 goals off the bench this tournament equalling the record.

Her long range effort was enough to seal the win and a quarter-final place with battling China unable to recover. 
Late penalty jolts Japan 

Martens' injury time penalty punished Japan for missing their chances in the cruelest way possible. 

After dominating the final 20 minutes without finding a winner, a point blank shot struck Kumagai's hand with the resulting spot kick enough to send the Netherlands through.   
Quarter-finals decided

A dramatic last 16 round is over and we have our 8 quarter-finalists (7 of them European!) with some massive games.
