November, 2019 News and Updates from the Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance
Lobular Breast Cancer Research Library
The Lobular Breast Cancer Alliance has built a searchable and categorized research library of 130 lobular breast cancer research studies and publications.  The online database can be searched and sorted by publication author, title, date, type of article, subjects covered and the date added.

To our knowledge, this is the only list of ILC specific research publications compiled to make ILC research easier to locate and share.  The Research Publications Library was most recently updated October 2019.

LBCA Releases Survey Results
at the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS)

LBCA will present a research poster at the prestigious SABCS this December entitled: Survey of LBCA-Sponsored Website Confirms Value, Identifies Unmet Information Needs of Patients.

The poster presents results of a survey conducted last spring of 950 website users.  Results include a patient-reported need for more in-depth information about ILC and best courses of treatment and a strong interest in more lobular breast cancer research.  The survey confirms that LBCA is driving awareness of lobular breast cancer by sponsoring a website providing research-based information about ILC.

LBCA invites SABCS registrants to join us in the Poster Hall:
San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium 2019
Program Number P1-16-02
Wednesday December 11, 5:00 – 7:00 pm

The LBCA poster and full survey results will be available on LBCA's website in December after the Symposium presentation.
