We congratulate Culinary Angels Executive Director & Founder Lisa McNaney for being recognized with this week's Jefferson Award in the Bay Area for helping to provide hope through food to people battling serious illnesses. 

'Lisa McNaney and her volunteers prepare delicious, nourishing meals for adults with serious medical needs and their caregivers.

They call themselves Culinary Angels. Lisa founded the nonprofit that shares the name in 2016.

"Wow how wonderful, yes it maybe the last meal of this challenging year still though part of a angels job is to put a spark of magic in the lifes of us all each and everyday, there are those who on the night before xmas go to sleep with visions of sugar plums dancing over there head, then there are those of us who know each night is christmas eve and the food thats dances above their heads are made only by angels each one with its very own special spark of magic ,magic full of health, optimism, joy and of course good will towards men MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE"
