YOU are YOUR sisters' keeper
Welcome to your weekend Soul Sista devotional: The Proverbs 31 Series through the lens of the Passion translation.
Recap for women who are just joining us, why are we doing this journey together?
We're going DEEPER to wrestle with what it means to 'do' womanhood well in today's world-gone-crazy! To choose to say yes, I AM who God says I AM. To believe that we are here to do sometimes hard & holy things. To be loved by God, and to live a life that tells others what its like to be loved by Him. To stand in the gap for others. And to live - truly LIVE - each and every day while keeping eternity in mind.
Soul scripture of the week - Proverbs 31:27:
"She watches over the ways of her household, and meets every need they have"
Who is in YOUR household or sphere to watch over?
Whatever stage of womanhood you find yourself in - single, married, living alone, in community - we all have a household that God has placed in our sphere of influence. People who watch over us, and watch the example that our lives set. Especially younger women who need to see us doing womanhood well, and embracing our identity:
“Know that you were formed by God’s hands, dreamed up in His heart & placed in this world for a purpose". When we have a revelation of our eternal identity, and step into health & wholeness, we have a responsibility to embrace women still on the journey.
What does it mean to be our sisters keeper?
- To journey alongside the people God has given you watch over in this world
- To see a need, and meet in - actively being God's hands and feet on this earth
- To not offer 'easy' answers, but to sit in the paradox, the wrestle of seasons of life with one another.
- To speak faith, speak life into people - so they grow into the fullness of who they were created in God to be. Perhaps the sweetest of words to receive are; I see you, I know you, and I believe in you.
- To choose to show up, to be vulnerable first, to risk true intimacy
What relationships is the Holy Spirit asking you to sew new life into this week?
Father God, we ask for you to place on our hearts the family you have given us to care for on this earth. Let YOUR grace be the glue that holds us together. We don't want to serve you from a place of being so blessed [although this is the case], but from a place of equality knowing we are just the same around the table, all in need of your love, grace and mercy first and foremost. We love you; let your love be the light that shines from our lives and into the world this week. In Jesus name, the ultimate servant leader, we are so honoured to pray.
Would love to hear your story as we grow together community, Say hello here xx

BLESSING for YOU and the sisters in your life:
You are blessed [favoured, chosen] with purpose to be the woman God designed you to be. Blessed with doing the work that was ordained for you in Gods book. Blessed with knowing and receiving your spiritual heritage and walking in confidence as a Daughter of God Blessed with life giving relationships that speak faith, strength & life into you. Blessed with a light through prayer, the Word and presence of the Holy Spirit that shines a light that cuts through any darkness with piercing clarity. Blessed with knowing God as your father. Blessed with knowing that He fights for you. Blessed with knowing you can stand your ground unharmed and call out to Him and He will answer. That every lie and stronghold in your life is to be silent and broken in Jesus name. Blessed with certainty that God has all the resources to meet your needs. Blessed with fullness of knowing your unshakable worth, value and identity in Him. Blessed with knowing His love will never leave or fail you" 💗
