Virtual Regional Competition Registration Is Now Open

Online registration for the 2021 virtual regional competitions is now open until Friday, December 11, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. CT. Please click here for more information.

UPDATE

  1. During the week of online testing, chapter advisers will receive the usernames, passwords, and online testing URL links to distribute to their students, and students will be able to test at home or at school, at their chapter adviser’s discretion.
  2. Students will be able to log in and view their role-play scenarios beginning at 8:00 a.m. CT on their specified event dates as outlined below.
  3. Students will have until their chapter-assigned deadline (the cutoff time chapter advisers decide for their students on each specified event day) to create their role-play response videos, upload them to YouTube or Vimeo, and send their chapter adviser(s) the private/unlisted URL link.
  4. Students must be seated in front of their devices, not standing, in all role-play videos.
  5. For fairness among all competitors and consistency for the judges, competitors on a team must record their solutions using a virtual meeting platform with side-by-side screens of the participating students, regardless of their school’s current learning environment (virtual or in-person).
  6. Chapter advisers will have to submit their students’ video URL links back into the registration portal by 11:59 p.m. CT on each specified event day.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that we are still facing, all of our regional competitions will be conducted virtually in January. The registration fee will be $10 per student.
