Three weeks ago, we had the pleasure of visiting Niagara on the Lake & the esteemed Pilliterri Estates. Our partners, the Pilliterri family has been producing some of the finest Canadian wines for over 50 years now. Particularly, their ice wines are second to none. Ice wines are made from the frozen grapes harvested January. Naturally the yields are very small but most delightful.
