September 2020 Newsletter
September is always a big month at the Library. Families head back to school, storytimes resume, and we celebrate Library Card Month. We hope you'll join us for the events featured below and on our website. The full line-up can be found on our online calendar, and we will continue to provide program and service updates on Facebook and Instagram.
Expanded Library Hours
It is now a little bit easier to access the library and our resources as we add weekday evening hours. As of September 8 we are open Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 7 pm, and Friday and Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm. We will continue to close periodically throughout the day for cleaning. More details about our hours, safety precautions, and continuing curbside services are available on our website.
It's Time to Celebrate and Save!
A library card gives you the power to dream, learn, explore, save money, and more. We're celebrating Library Card Month with special offers at the library and throughout the community. Enjoy special discounts when you show your library card during the month of September at these generous local businesses: 10% off at The Poppy Seed, 15% off at Hometown Pharmacy-DeForest, 10% off at Rose Cottage Florals & Gifts. Offers are good 9/1/2020 through 9/30/2020, and some restrictions apply. Don't have a library card? It's easy to sign up today online or at the library.
