Notes from the Editor

Aloha and Happy Holidays to all you friends of SOKO. We’re finalizing plans for the live and in person ARTISTS STUDIO TOUR, Saturday and Sunday February 26-27. The brochure is being designed as I write this and in early January will be at one of the many fine galleries and shops that will have them available. And you will then be able to view the brochure online at our website, sokoartists.com. We’ve missed you, and we are greatly looking forward to greeting you all once again in our studios!

Holiday Featured Artwork Of The Month
In the meantime, you’ll want to be doing some holiday shopping, so in this newsletter you will find some beautiful art for sale, in a variety of price ranges, from the SOKO artists. This month, some of the artists will each feature one special piece for sale in this newsletter. That doesn’t mean that these artists only have the one piece for sale. You can go to their individual websites, which you can find at sokoartists.com, to purchase these items and many more. In the event that the artist does not have a website, contact information is provided with the image.

Here are the items featured this month:

From JAN BOVARD
Flying Cranes, 17” x 16” high-fired stoneware, $230

From ANDREA PRO
Hawai'i Heritage Plant prints will bring vibrant color to your home.
Many of my most popular woodcut prints are now available for purchase as giclee reproductions. There is something really special about an original woodcut print, but since these editions are sold out, giclees are the next best thing. These giclees are more affordable than original art and are printed with archival inks and papers so they will last way more than your lifetime with proper care. Choose from three sizes.
