Dear <<First Name>>,

The view from the study

What a fortnight it has been – what a term we have had. Amidst the excitement of the return to school were some perfectly understandable concerns among both children and staff, so I would like to start this final newsletter of term by thanking and congratulating each and every one of you on your bravery.

This term has seen us all re-evaluate the importance of time at school and I hope that you will enjoy watching the short video put together by Form 6 that encapsulates some of the joy of school. Miss Kidd has reflected on the term in the Form 6 Journal and I think that her sentiments are mirrored by all of the teaching staff.

The focus has been on allowing the children to catch up with one another and so we have increased the amount of free time available to the senior bubble and rotated the activities so that everyone has had the chance to get out and enjoy the fantastic weather.

Capture the Flag, Wookie Special, cricket, rounders, netball, tennis, hockey, football – all have been played with a real sense of joy, which has been wonderful to see. There has been lots of hard work as well: Form 1s have returned to feedback from their Mocks and advice on revision in the run up to CE.

Thank you to all of the parents for your continuing support – Happy Easter to you all!

Olly Langton
